Job Overview
The Maintenance Assistant supports maintenance operations by ensuring equipment is delivered on time and meets operational requirements. This role focuses on improving equipment utilization efficiency and supporting maintenance teams with basic tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Perform tasks assigned by the Maintenance Manager Supervisor or Technicians
Work under direct supervision of Maintenance Technicians or Supervisors
Carry out low-level non-invasive maintenance activities
Ensure equipment is maintained according to CMMS guidelines and maintenance programs
Accurately record materials labor and maintenance activities in system tools
Track equipment history including movements work orders parts usage and maintenance time
Follow all maintenance and operational standards
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance asset utilization and reduce cost of service delivery
Assist in improving efficiency and productivity of Maintenance Technicians
Requirements
Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
Basic mechanical aptitude preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Willingness to work weekends as required
