Job Summary
- Provide ongoing website maintenance and updates to ensure that all content remains current accurate and functional across all pages and platforms.
- Perform website design enhancements and implement user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) improvements to ensure the website is intuitive user-friendly and aligned with modern design standards.
- Develop new website pages features and functionality as needed to support City operations programs and services including the expansion of online capabilities for residents and businesses.
- Ensure the website complies with all applicable accessibility standards including but not limited to Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements and shall proactively address accessibility issues as they arise.
- Monitor and optimize website performance to ensure fast load times reliability and consistent uptime including identifying and resolving performance issues.
- Implement regular security updates and perform vulnerability mitigation efforts to protect the website from cyber threats unauthorized access and data breaches.
- Assist with the integration of the website with City systems applications and third-party platforms including but not limited to permitting systems payment portals GIS applications and communication tools.
- Work collaboratively with City staff to ensure timely content updates maintain consistent branding and messaging and support effective communication through the Citys website.
