Job Summary

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional for a Contracts & Procurement Administration role to support IT contracting and procurement operations within a government environment. This position will work closely with the Contract Manager Lead and cross-functional teams to manage the full contract lifecycle ensure compliance and support efficient procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end IT contract lifecycle including initiation execution monitoring and close-out
  • Support procurement activities by preparing and managing RFPs RFQs RFBs and RFIs
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders leadership vendors and contractors across departments
  • Facilitate procurement processes including:
    • Kick-off and pre-proposal meetings
    • Document preparation and review
    • Approval tracking and workflow coordination
    • Legal and purchasing reviews
  • Manage vendor interactions including demonstrations Q&A sessions and documentation tracking
  • Monitor contract financials such as funding burn rate and expenditures
  • Track and manage contract performance renewals compliance and scope changes
  • Support dispute resolution and vendor performance issues
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of all contract documentation (digital and physical)
  • Communicate contract terms processes and updates clearly across all levels of the organization
  • Support Contract Office operations:
    • Calendar management and scheduling
    • Meeting coordination agendas minutes and action items
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies procurement regulations and audit requirements
  • Perform additional duties as required
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of contract management experience
  • Minimum 2 years of IT administrative support experience
  • 4 years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word Outlook PowerPoint)
  • Basic understanding of IT infrastructure concepts
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and within a team
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with IT procurement in government environments (Federal State or Local)
  • Knowledge of public sector contracting and compliance processes
  • Experience supporting enterprise-level or high-visibility IT programs
  • Familiarity with contract or procurement management tools/systems
