Job Summary
Job Title: QA Automation & Performance Test Engineer
Location: Menands New York - Hybrid
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Responsibilities:
- Design develop and execute automated test scripts and comprehensive test suites for functional and regression testing across multiple applications
- Build enhance and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium or Cypress
- Perform performance testing using JMeter LoadRunner and NeoLoad to evaluate system reliability and scalability
- Develop and execute detailed performance test plans and scripts including preparation of test data and environment setup
- Identify analyze and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks establish performance baselines and recommend optimization strategies
- Conduct web services and API testing using SOAP UI Postman and REST Assured for RESTful and SOAP-based services
- Validate API responses ensure data consistency and support integration testing across distributed systems
- Perform backend and database testing with strong SQL skills including data validation query development and data integrity verification
- Support database migration testing by validating data accuracy completeness and consistency across systems
- Collaborate with development DevOps and business teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout the SDLC
- Participate in test planning defect tracking root cause analysis and continuous improvement of QA processes
- Ensure end-to-end test coverage including functional regression performance and data validation testing
