Job Summary
Position: Surgical Technician (Specialties: Ortho Trauma Neuro Spine Gynecology & Urology)
Location: Akron Ohio Akron Campus (Operating Room)
Duration: 05/17/2026 08/15/2026
Shift: 4x10s (Monday Friday 7:00 AM 5:30 PM)
Hours: 40 hours/week
On-Call: Required
Role Overview:
In this role you will support surgical procedures by preparing operating rooms ensuring all instruments and supplies are ready and functioning as a scrub tech throughout procedures. You will play a key role in maintaining a sterile environment and assisting the surgical team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program
- BCLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
- Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification (preferred)
- Recent Operating Room experience
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and instrumentation
Key Skills & Expectations:
- Experience across Ortho Trauma Neuro Spine Gynecology and Urology
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced OR setting
- Ability to stand for long periods and assist with patient handling and equipment
