Job Summary (List Format) Senior Software Engineer (AI):

- Contribute hands-on to enterprise workflow and automation solutions within the Workflow Orchestration Initiative.
- Design and develop Java-based backend services and APIs integrating with workflow orchestration platforms (e.g. Appian).
- Implement AI/ML-enabled features (classification extraction recommendations prediction decision support) using Python and enterprise AI frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with Java engineers to align AI services with backend architecture and shared platforms.
- Develop and maintain microservices using Java Spring Boot/Spring Cloud and enterprise design patterns.
- Expose AI capabilities through secure scalable APIs for workflow and application consumption.
- Partner with data engineering teams to access transform and validate data for AI use cases.
- Support integration inference monitoring and performance tuning of AI models in production.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines DevSecOps practices automated testing and observability for Java and AI services.
- Participate in code reviews design sessions and technical collaboration to ensure quality and consistency.
- Apply strong understanding of RESTful API design service integration and security.
- Work with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred) for data modeling and query optimization.
- Support model lifecycle management MLOps practices and cloud-based AI platforms (preferred).
- Leverage experience with workflow orchestration platforms (e.g. Appian Camunda JBPM) and enterprise integration frameworks.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively across engineering teams in an agile (SAFe preferred) environment.
- (Preferred) Bring domain expertise in workflow intelligence decision automation NLP document processing healthcare IT or payment integrity.
