As of 1/1/2024 - ALL new AND returning agency staff must have completed training from one of following groups for onboarding and clearance. Welle - (Verbal De-escalation bundle training required) OR CPI - OR PMCS - COVID vaccinations encouraged but not required.

Operating Room Nurses offer the skills needed to provide surgical patient care by assessing planning and implementing the nursing care patients receive before during and after surgery.

Activities may include patient assessment creating and maintaining a sterile and safe surgical environment pre and post-operative patient education monitoring the patients physical and emotional well-being and integrating and coordinating patient care throughout the surgical care continuum.

Strong skills in vascular surgery and orthopedic surgery are a must.

Primarily circulating position Scrub experience would be a great additional skill to have!

Patient population: Pediatric-Adult

EMR: EPIC

Operating Rooms: 14 rooms with coverage in Labor & Delivery for C-sections.

Types of procedures: Currently provide care in all surgical specialties except cardiac and ophthalmology.

Average procedures per day: 50

Holiday Call-Back and OT multipliers: 1.25%

• Float experience to vascular ortho trauma gen surg Robot urology ENT - Required
• Travel experience- required
• EPIC experience- required
• BLS and ACLS- required
• Scrub and Circulate experience- Required
• Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle. This is a firm requirement.
