Job Summary
Job Title: Outpatient Pharmacist (OP Pharmacist)
Location: Tuba City AZ (Tuba City Regional Health Care Corporation)
Duration: 13 Weeks Contract
Pay Rate: $70 $80 per hour
We are seeking an experienced Outpatient Pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmacy and medication management services across main campus and satellite clinics. This role involves direct patient care across all age groups and supports both clinical and operational pharmacy functions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide medication management and pharmaceutical care to patients
- Deliver direct patient care across neonatal pediatric adult geriatric oncology and OB populations
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy policies procedures and safety standards
- Support both inpatient and outpatient pharmacy services as needed
- Participate in clinical services and pharmacy program development
- Supervise pharmacy staff including technicians and assistants when required
- 4 days/week (10-hour shifts)
- Rotational shifts: Days evenings weekends (RDO may vary)
- Shift start times may include: 8:00 AM 9:00 AM 10:00 AM or 12:00 PM
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelors in Pharmacy (ACPE recognized)
- Active unrestricted Pharmacist License (US State or Territory)
- BLS Certification (AHA) required
- Minimum 2 years of Pharmacist experience
- Minimum 1 year of Clinical Pharmacist experience
- Fingerprinting must be completed and cleared prior to start
- Ability to work in a diverse multidisciplinary healthcare environment
- JCAHO-accredited healthcare center serving a large regional population
