Senior Project Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead capital and engineering projects within a high-volume food manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for managing projects from concept through execution improving production efficiency and ensuring successful delivery of engineering solutions across the plant.

• Lead engineering projects from concept design and execution through completion
• Develop engineering designs specifications and cost estimates
• Conduct feasibility studies and support technical decision-making
• Manage project scope schedules budgets and deliverables
• Coordinate with vendors contractors and internal plant teams
• Oversee installation commissioning and equipment integration
• Ensure compliance with engineering codes standards and safety requirements
• Review engineering documentation including drawings manuals and specifications
• Support production line modifications and process improvement initiatives
• Lead bid evaluations and procurement-related activities
• Track project financial performance and reporting

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field
• 5 years of project engineering experience
• Experience managing engineering projects in a manufacturing environment (food industry preferred)
• Strong project management and budget control experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills

• Food manufacturing experience
• Meat processing or kill floor environment exposure
• Experience managing large-scale capital projects
• Knowledge of food processing systems and industrial equipment
