Summary
The Food Service Workeris responsible forthe preparation of foodpresentingand serving food to customers.The Food Service Worker is also responsible forpreparationof foodproperly storingfood in designated areasin accordance withapplicable federal state and local standardsguidelinesand regulations.The focus of the Food Service Workerincludes general food service workmaintainingsanitation standards in the preparation service and dining room facilities.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Prep workincludingwashing peeling cutting and seeding vegetables and fruits along with weighing and measuring designated ingredients.
Carries pans kettles and trays of food to and fromworkstationsstove andrefrigeratorwhilemaintainingall safety standards.
Properly stores foods in designated areas following wrapping dating and food safety and rotation procedures.
Cleans work areasequipmentand utensils.
Distributes supplies utensils and portable equipment.
Utilizes approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality serving temperatures and standardportioncontrol.
Serves customers in an efficient and friendly manner following outlined steps of service.
Resolves customer concerns and relays relevant information tosupervisor.
Interactswith co-workers to ensure compliance with company servicestandards andinventory and cash control procedures.
Assures compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.

Customer Service Responsibilities
Demonstrate excellent customer service and standards ofbehaviorsas well as encourages coaches andmonitorsthe sameinteam members. This individual should consistently promote teamwork and direct communication with co-workers and deal discretely and sensitively with confidential information.
