Job Summary

Technica is seeking a Material Handling Laborer to support the DLA Warehouse at NAS

Position Summary:

The Material Handling Laborer will perform physical tasks to transport or store materials or merchandise. Duties involve one or more of the following:

Manually loading or unloading freight cars trucks or other transporting devices
Unpacking shelving or placing items in proper storage locations
Transporting goods by material handling equipment hand truck cart or wheelbarrow.
Responsible for the receipt inspection inventory condition code classification storage issue packing and shipment of equipment material and supplies
Process material and equipment by utilizing DLA provided SOPs computer systems and programs.
Load and unload conveyances utilizing material handling equipment up to 50K forklift.

Qualifications:

US Citizen
High school diploma or equivalent
18 years of age
Valid state drivers license
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Must have the ability to be cleared for a NACI clearance to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)

Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks related to the position.
