RN Quality Control Manager

Job Purpose:

Johnson Venture Management Solutions Inc. (JVM Solutions) is recruiting an experienced Quality Control Manager (QCM) to develop implement and administer JVMs Quality Control Program (QCP) for the FLETC Enterprise Health Unit Services contract. The QCM reports directly to JVMs Corporate Office and does not share other key management duties under this contract ensuring fully independent and objective quality oversight across all TDPs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct minimum 30% random sample walk-through inspections of all health unit services across Glynco Artesia and Charleston
• Report ALL quality control findings directly to the Contractors Corporate Office - never to the PM APM or Clinic Managers
• Present all inspection findings to the CO/COR/CMO by the fifth training day of each month
• Oversee direct and manage Quality Control Personnel at Artesia NM and Charleston SC
• Ensure QC inspections at Artesia and Charleston are performed by site QC Personnel and reported only to the QCM
• Develop corrective action plans for identified deficiencies; schedule follow-up inspections with the COR
• Maintain complete QC inspection file throughout contract; this file is Government property
• Submit monthly QC report to COR by the 15th of each month including defect trends and corrective actions
• Include in monthly report: number of items signed out (equipment issued)
• Transfer all QC files to the COR/CO within 10 calendar days after contract completion or termination
• Travel to Artesia and Charleston to perform and oversee on-site inspections as needed

Qualifications:

• Current full active and unencumbered license as PA Nurse Practitioner or Registered Nurse
• Minimum three (3) consecutive years of professional healthcare experience
• Within the last three (3) years must have worked as a QCM OR demonstrated knowledge of commercial/government quality control plans for a Health Unit Urgent Care Doctors Office or Emergency Department
• Proficiency in oral and written communication in English; Microsoft Office; Government EMR (SASS)
• S. Citizen or alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence; DHS background investigation required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior federal healthcare quality assurance experience
• AAAHC Joint Commission or NIST quality framework familiarity
• Prior multi-site QC management experience

Physical Requirements:

• Physically capable of performing clinical walk-through inspections and traveling between sites

Education:

• Baccalaureate Degree

Licenses/Certifications:

• Current full active and unencumbered license as PA Nurse Practitioner or Registered Nurse
