Internship in Test Automation (SDET Intern)

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Test Automation Intern to join our QA team. This internship offers hands-on experience in software testing and automation within a real-world fintech environment. You will work alongside experienced engineers to improve product quality contribute to automation frameworks and gain exposure to modern testing tools and practices.

Your responsibilities:

• Support the development and execution of automated test cases for web and API-based applications
• Assist in maintaining and enhancing existing test automation frameworks
• Participate in functional regression and end-to-end testing activities
• Analyze test results identify issues and document defects clearly
• Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to understand requirements and improve test coverage
• Contribute to troubleshooting and debugging of application and test failures
• Help document test scenarios test cases and automation processes
• Gain exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution workflows
• Learn and apply best practices in software quality assurance and test automation

Your qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field
• Basic understanding of software testing concepts and QA methodologies
• Initial programming experience (e.g. TypeScript JavaScript Python or similar)
• Familiarity with web technologies and APIs (REST) is a plus
• Basic knowledge of automation tools or willingness to learn (e.g. Playwright Selenium or similar)
• Understanding of version control systems (e.g. Git/GitHub)
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
• Highly motivated detail-oriented and eager to learn

Nice to have:

• Exposure to API testing tools

• Basic knowledge of SQL or databases
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments
• Awareness of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Interest in fintech compliance or banking systems
