Ready to get stuck in and be part of something big Downer is building a strong skilled crew in Nelson and we want you on it. From major infrastructure to essential maintenance no two days are the same. If you enjoy hands-on work being part of a tight-knit team and seeing the results of what you build this is your chance.

Were offering full-time permanent roles (40 hours guaranteed) with competitive pay overtime allowances and penal rates under the South Island AWUNZ agreement.

Were hiring across multiple roles:

• Construction Labourers Get hands-on across a range of civil works. Great entry point into the industry. Class 1 licence preferred.
• Operator/Drivers Run machinery and trucks while supporting the crew on the ground. Class 4/5 (drivers) WTR (operators) required.
• Drainlayers Work across water wastewater & stormwater projects. Class 12 licence and 3 waters experience essential.
• Civil Carpenters Build retaining walls boardwalks formwork and more. Class 1 licence required.
• Civil Foreperson Lead crews manage day-to-day site operations and drive performance. Class 2 WTR preferred.
