Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Diagnostic X-Ray Technologist for a high-acuity Level I Trauma Center in Indianapolis Indiana. This role involves working overnight in a fast-paced hospital environment supporting emergency surgical and inpatient imaging across a large multi-unit facility.
Assignment Details
- Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
- Schedule: 3x12 Hours
- Duration: 13 Weeks
- Orientation: 12 Hours (Non-billable)
- Weekend Requirement: Every Saturday
- Overtime: Available and encouraged
- First-Time Travelers: Accepted
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging in ED ICU OR and inpatient units
- Operate Siemens and client imaging systems
- Perform imaging for extremities abdomen/GI spine/pelvis and chest/torso
- Provide portable X-rays in emergency and surgical settings
- Assist with OR imaging and C-arm procedures
- Ensure proper radiation safety and patient positioning
- Work independently during night shift operations
- Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of X-Ray Tech experience
- ARRT Certification (Required)
- BLS Certification (Required)
- Indiana State License (pending accepted; ETA 2 weeks)
- Experience in Level I Trauma ER OR preferred
- Strong competency in surgical and emergency imaging
