Job Summary

Revolution Medicines is a late-stage clinical oncology company developing novel targeted therapies for patients with RAS-addicted cancers. The companys R&D pipeline comprises RAS(ON) inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins. The companys RAS(ON) inhibitors daraxonrasib (RMC-6236) a RAS(ON) multi-selective inhibitor; elironrasib (RMC-6291) a RAS(ON) G12C-selective inhibitor; zoldonrasib (RMC-9805) a RAS(ON) G12D-selective inhibitor; and RMC-5127 a RAS(ON) G12V-selective inhibitor are currently in clinical development. As a new member of the Revolution Medicines team you will join other outstanding professionals in a tireless commitment to patients with cancers harboring mutations in the RAS signaling pathway.

The Opportunity:

The Director Regional HR Business Partner (Europe) is responsible for supporting the development and execution of the people strategy across key European markets in a high-growth biotech environment. The role combines strategic business partnering with hands-on operational execution with a strong emphasis on building HR foundations ensuring compliance and delivering effective people practices at country level. A critical component of the role is deep in-country expertise particularly in France including labor law collective bargaining agreements (CBAs) and employee representation structures. The position operates as a core member of the European HR team.

Key Responsibilities include:

Regional HR Infrastructure & Operations

  • Contribute to the build-out and scaling of HR infrastructure across key European markets.

  • Implement and manage core HR processes (employee lifecycle onboarding performance management policies compliance frameworks).

  • Ensure consistent and compliant HR operations across all countries.

  • Act as a key operational HR lead delivering day-to-day HR support where required.

HR Business Partnering

  • Partner with regional leadership to align people priorities with business objectives.

  • Support organizational design workforce planning and change initiatives.

  • Provide practical hands-on guidance to managers on performance management employee relations and team effectiveness.

  • Contribute to building management capability in a scaling organization.

Country Expertise & Compliance (Focus on France)

  • Ensure adherence to local labor laws regulations and CBAs across all relevant jurisdictions.

  • Provide deep labor law expertise in European key markets including statutory processes and compliance obligations.

  • Manage and/or advise on employee relations cases investigations and disciplinary actions.

  • Liaise with external legal counsel and local advisors as needed.

Culture Engagement & Learning

  • Support the development and embedding of a cohesive and scalable company culture across European teams.

  • Drive employee engagement activities including surveys and action planning.

  • Partner with global HR to implement learning and development initiatives.

  • Promote consistent employee experience aligned with company values.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Execution

  • Partner with HR teams globally and regionally (Talent Acquisition Total Rewards L&D HR Operations) to implement programs locally.

  • Provide regional input into global HR strategies and initiatives.

  • Ensure an appropriate balance between global consistency and local adaptation.

  • Ensure clear ownership alignment and communication across all stakeholders involved in European expansion efforts.

  • Proactively identify and resolve gaps or dependencies across functions to enable smooth implementation.

  • Operational Excellence: Day-to-day HR support is delivered reliably with issues addressed in a timely pragmatic and compliant manner.

  • Culture & Engagement Progress: Clear progress in building a cohesive culture and positive employee experience across distributed teams.

  • Effective Global-Regional Alignment: Global HR programs are successfully implemented and adapted to regional needs with strong collaboration across functions.

  • Scalable HR Approach: Solutions put in place are not only fit-for-purpose today but designed to scale with organizational growth.

Required Skills Experience and Education:

  • Significant HR experience including HR Business Partner roles in Europe.

  • Experience within biotech pharmaceutical or life sciences environments preferred.

  • Demonstrated experience in high-growth or startup settings including building HR processes and structures ideally.

  • Strong operational HR capability with willingness to execute directly.

  • Deep knowledge of European labor law and practices with strong hands-on expertise.

  • Experience working with works councils unions and CBAs.

  • Proven ability to operate in a matrixed international organization.

  • Experience supporting multi-country populations across European markets.
