Job Summary
POSITION SUMMARY:The Patient Accounts Representative Manager (PAR Manager) is responsible for the management of Patient Accounts Representatives and Business Services. The PAR Manager is the initial contact for patient employee and physician concerns relating to account information. The PAR Manager must be willing to assume duties of subordinates in emergency & EXPERIENCE:High school diploma or equivalent required College degree preferredTwo to five (2-5) years of proven experience managing teams within a healthcare setting/healthcare revenue cycle or patient accounts department requiredStrong knowledge of Medicare Medicaid and commercial insurance carriers preferredStrong knowledge of medical billing procedures insurance claims processing and collections strategies preferredQUALIFICATIONS:Strong discretion and ability to handle confidential informationComposure in fastpaced highpressure environmentsWillingness and ability to learn new technologiesDependable punctual and highly detailorientedStrong multitasking and independentwork capabilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAccurate documentation skillsAbility to follow established workflows consistentlyWORK SCHEDULE:Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM
