First-Line Manufacturing Manager

Spectrolab Inc. (A Boeing Company) is seeking a First-Line Manufacturing Manager (K-Level) to join the Spectrolab team in Sylmar CA.

This position will focus on supporting Spectrolab Manufacturing CIC/CTKG and Classify and Test departments.

Position Responsibilities

  • Supervises employees performing multiple manufacturing processes.

  • Oversee the implementation of policies and procedures in support of daily operational responsibilities.

  • Provides guidance for processes and technical approaches.

  • Develops and maintains relationships within operational guidelines with peers direct reports and internal customers.

This position is 100% onsite

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is Person includes US Citizen lawful permanent resident refugee or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • Must have a High school Diploma or GED

  • Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader temp manager large scale cross functionalproject/program management or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course Exploring Leadership.

  • 5 years of related experience (semiconductor or assembly manufacturing experience)

  • 5 years of experience working with semiconductors test and/or assembly manufacturing

  • 1 years of leadership experience in production / manufacturing environment

  • 3 years of experience with Word Excel Outlook and PowerPoint.

  • 1 years of effective team-building skills develops and motivates employees

  • 3 years of experience with process improvement

  • 3 years of experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

  • A bachelors degree is also highly desired.

  • 5 years of supervisory experience over technical work groups in the same or related field is desired.

Shift:

This position is for 2nd shift

Relocation:

This position is in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $110000 to $161000
