Essential Responsibilities:
- Process all member and business financial transactions including but not limited to issuing checks processing deposits withdrawals and wires issuing drafts and other negotiable instruments.
- Respond to member inquiries regarding the operation of accounts access to services account discrepancies adding or reducing service features on various accounts and assisting members.
- Maintain a current knowledge of all products and services changes in federal regulations and internal policies and procedures specifically related to their job.
- Maintain a knowledge of and comply with all BSA related regulations and internal policies and procedures.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- One year of customer service experience is required; focusing on interacting with people and delivering high-quality service is preferred.
QualificationsKnowledge Skills & Abilities
- Proficient with various computer software applications including MS Word and MS Outlook and able to learn in-house application software.
- Service-oriented with a proactive approach to helping others solve problems and meet financial goals.
- Excellent analytical organizational and detail-oriented skills with a strong focus on accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage professionally in person by phone email or in writing with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of processes tools and techniques for detecting addressing and preventing fraud.
Physical Demands
- Primarily sedentary work that involves extended periods of sitting/standing with extensive computer use.
- Repetitive motions involving the wrists hands and fingers.
- Light physical tasks including lifting and moving objects up to 20 pounds.
- Requires consistent verbal communication and active listening.
- Regular interaction with others through various means including voice email and messaging platforms (e.g. Teams).
- Occasional movement to complete tasks or transition between worksites.
