Description of Work

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Painter to join our Maintenance Department. The primary responsibility of the Painter position is to maintain the interior of the facility and all outlying campus buildings by performing patching painting and repair tasks. Your work will help ensure a safe clean and well-maintained environment for the staff and residents at Black Mountain Neuro-Medical Treatment Center.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences

Recruitment Range: $31200.00 - $53812.00

Candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they meet the minimum education and experience listed on the vacancy announcement.

The Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)/ Management Preferences are not required. Applicants who possess the following skills are preferred:

  • Working knowledge of the standard practices and methods of the painting trade

  • Demonstrated skill in the use and care of tools and equipment used in the painting trade

  • Demonstrated experience in patching and repairing holes

This position is designated as mandatory and Must report or stay over during adverse weather events.

Black Mountain Neuro-Medical Treatment Center is one of three state operated facilities serving adults with chronic and complex medical conditions that co-exist with neurodevelopmental or neurocognitive disorders often related to a diagnosis of severe and persistent mental illness or intellectual disability. The health and physical status of these residents require 24-hour supervision daily nursing care and assistance with activities of daily living.

We are a specialized long-term care facility focusing on maintaining quality of life and dignity for adults with neurocognitive or neurodevelopmental disorders with coexisting complex medical and behavioral needs whose level of support extends beyond that which can be provided in family or community living settings. Supplemental Information:
