KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform daily cleaning of all common areas including corridors lobbies entrances and office spaces
• Sweep and mop floors to maintain a clean and presentable environment
• Sanitize high-touch surfaces throughout the day including fitness equipment and amenity areas
• Clean and maintain washrooms and shared amenities on an ongoing basis
• Clean glass surfaces patios and BBQ areas daily
• Conduct daily interior and exterior walkthroughs to remove garbage debris and pet waste
• Inspect and clean the garbage room daily
• Complete weekly tasks including:
  • Vacuuming corridors and sweeping stairwells
  • Dusting and maintaining vacant suites to ensure rent-ready condition
  • Deep scrubbing of tile surfaces using appropriate equipment (e.g. floor machine)
• Support suite readiness by:
  • Preparing suites for move-in with final touch-up cleaning
  • Completing suite turnover cleans as required
  • Maintaining show suites to a high standard
• Perform periodic cleaning duties including:
  • Carpet shampooing of all floors (approximately every 6 weeks)
  • Ongoing spot cleaning of walls and surfaces
• Maintain exterior service areas including daily sweeping of the loading dock and touch-up cleaning of the parkade
• Carry out other cleaning and maintenance duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks throughout the day
• Physically capable of performing cleaning duties including lifting bending and standing for extended periods
• Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required to support communication with residents team members and management
