Boothby Therapy Services is hiring a Physical Therapist (PT) for a school-based pediatric ESY (Extended School Year) summer position in Bangor Maine and surrounding areas. This role is ideal for PTs seeking school-based experience pediatric therapy or flexible summer work.

Job Details Physical Therapist (PT)

• Location: Bangor ME and surrounding areas
• Position Type: ESY / Summer / Contract
• Schedule: Flexible ESY schedule (part-time or full-time opportunities)
• Pay: $45$60 per hour (based on experience)
• Setting: School-based / Public schools (K12)
• Bonus: Travel stipend provided

Physical Therapist (PT) Responsibilities

• Provide school-based physical therapy to pediatric students (K12)
• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans
• Write and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
• Deliver direct therapy services (individual and group sessions)
• Improve student mobility strength balance and coordination
• Collaborate with special education teams OTs SLPs and teachers
• Attend IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings
• Recommend adaptive equipment and assistive technology
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes

Qualifications Physical Therapist (PT)

• Active Maine Physical Therapist license required
• Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT or equivalent)
• Interest or experience in pediatrics schools or special education preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
