Saint Lukes in Kansas City is seeking a BC/BE OB/GYN Hospitalist for PRN coverage at Saint Lukes North HospitalBarry Road and Saint Lukes East Hospital in Lees Summit Missouri.
About the position
The OB Hospitalist Group consists of BC/BE physicians providing evidenced-based care to a diverse patient population at Saint Lukes East Hospital in Lees Summit MO and Saint Lukes North Hospital-Barry Rd.
Shift schedules vary each month according to department needs and are planned in partnership with leadership; shifts may include days nights and weekends
The OBGYN Hospitalist provides care on labor & delivery as well as surgical care for antepartum intrapartum and postpartum patients including unassigned OB and gynecologic patients presenting through the ED
Responsibilities include clinical resource for L&D staff patient assessment and triage care coordination and/or coverage as needed for the delivering OB groups deliveries and surgical procedures as needed; high risk patients are transferred to Saint Lukes Hospital of Kansas City
Strong sub-specialty support including MFM anesthesia neonatologist GYN/ONC and URO/GYN
Fully integrated Epic EMR
Preferred candidates will have a demonstrated commitment to quality safety and patient satisfaction and have a minimum of three years obstetrics/gynecology experience
Requirements: BC/BE in OB/GYN with eligibility for licensure in MO and KS
