Job Summary
Reports to the Nurse Manager and is under the supervision of the Anesthesiologist during a case/procedure. Provides anesthesia support services throughout the medical center in conjunction with surgical and interventional procedures requiring anesthesia. The technician functions as a member of the anesthesia and surgical team. Assists in case preparation induction extubation technical and functional support and between case turnovers of rooms between procedures.

Required Skills
- Familiar with the functioning and requirements of a surgical suite and the processes and requirements of anesthesia care.
- Demonstrate ability to utilize and maintain a wide variety of health care equipment.
- Demonstrate skill to respond quickly and efficiently in fast paced environment.
- Proficient in English. Knowledge of basic medical terminology.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
