The Office of the Registrar provides front-line client service support to our academic community current and former students as well as alumni. The Office of the Registrar is a core service unit that supports the academic mission of the university.
WHAT WE OFFER

Standard Work Hours: Mon - Fri 8:15 am - 4:30 pm 36.25 hours per week
Salary Range: $23.48 - $27.26 per hour
YOUR FOCUS
Reporting to the Associate Registrar Admission Services the Clerk PL4 (Admissions Assistant - Domestic) is responsible for the management and organization of incoming application documents and data within the Domestic Undergraduate Admissions Office. This position plays an integral role in ensuring the efficient management and processing of undergraduate admission decisions.
- Import application data into the UNB student information system with a high degree of data integrity.
- Ensure accurate assignment of application documents through CRM Recruit and correct errors.
- Run regular reports to clean up data issues and monitor the error dashboard.
- Use judgment to apply admission policy/procedures to application documentation.
- Retrieve uploaded documents within the system and store them in UNBs document imaging system.
- Record transcripts to applicant files and store documents in the imaging system for detailed record-keeping.
- Make independent decisions on official documentation and contact students when required.
- Ensure the confidentiality of all documents and observe privacy policies around student files and data.
- Process all official communication to applicants. Process edit and issue decision emails and letters.
- Cross-train and process transfer credit decisions during high volume times and leaves as required.
- Determine internal and external transfer credits.
- Provide backup for Admissions Officers during leave and breaks and high-volume times.
- Participate in policy development/change discussions with the Domestic Admissions Office team.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Post-secondary diploma in a related field.
- 3 years related administrative or technical experience preferable in a university environment.
Additional Strengths
- An undergraduate degree would be considered an asset.
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat Entrinsik Informer and Footprints ticketing system experience considered an asset.
- Demonstrated MS O365 skills (particularly Word Excel SharePoint Teams and Outlook).
- Experience with an enterprise information system and a CRM (i.e. CRM Recruit) technology preferred.
- Demonstrated organizational communication (verbal & written) and task-management skills.
- Willing and able to contribute to a positive and respectful workplace environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
