As a Warehouse Associate at Caterpillar Inc. you will play a key role in supporting our operations by accurately verifying part numbers locations and quantities using a variety of source addition to counting parts and fulfilling orders you will perform firstline quality checks toidentifydamage or defects. We have several openings on each shift starting at $19.55/hour! Our night shifts haveadditionalpremiums included!

What You Will Do:

• Operating heavy equipment including sit down forklifts reach trucks order pickers and overhead hoists.

• Perform material handling and warehousing functions such as unloading sorting putting away pickingpackingand shipping partsmaterialsand supplies.

• Read process flows and follow detailed instructions to ensure the movement of material within a warehouse.

• Track and record hourly or daily activities completed during each shift.

• Attachidentifyingtags or labels to materials or mark information on cases bales or other handling units.

• Reliability is important be on-timeandmaintaina good attendance record tosafely and efficiently meet the needs of the customer.

• Physical Requirements: able tolift upto35pounds individually(70lb team lift)and work in an environment withfrequentlychanging to work onplatformat heights of 26 feet or higher for long stretches of time.

What You Have:

• Safety:Conducts daily maintenance and keeps tracking safety logs on equipment. Inspectsworkingenvironment to promote safe workarea.Utilizespersonalprotective equipmentor recommended for task at hand. Speak up if safety concerns areencountered. Takes personal accountability for safety.

• Warehouse Management:Performs basic warehousing activities such as receiving putting away pickingpackingand shipping materials. Understand and meet daily targetsrelativeto role. Maintainsitemand inventory management records.Helpsproblem solving bottlenecks and delays through continuous improvement.Useshandheld scanners toassistreal-time inventory software to ensureaccuratematerial levels aremaintained.

• Collaboration:Work together as a team to help each other learn and meet shared goals.Come to work with a positive attitude and ideas for continuous improvement.

• Accuracy and Attention to Detail:Responsible for inventory accuracy.Learnsfrom mistakes andapplieslessons learned.Useschecklists to ensure that information goes out error-free. • Effective Communications:Uses verbal and non-verbal communication to receive direction and share ideas and job-related needs. Alwaysdemonstrateeffective communication in a professional demeanor. Maintains focus on the topic at hand with a teamwork outlook.

• Starting wage is $19.55/hour (additionalnight shift premium for off shifts). Overtime opportunities paid at time and a half (some may be mandatory).
