Job Summary
Braun Intertec is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Building Sciences group in the Grapevine office.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain internal and external client relationships including project and non-project related face-to-face meetings
Leadership of a technical or project related team
Prepare proposals for moderate to complex projects
Develop and execute whole scopes and prepare engineering reports giving professional opinions and practical structural engineering solutions
Manage projects (scope schedule budget)
Perform engineering analysis using company and industry methodologies and standards
Mentor junior level engineering staff
Understand and work in compliance with corporate health and safety policies
Assist in the review of analysis of building component failures and third party review of construction documents and specifications for building envelope components.
Support (either directing or on occasion assist) with field testing as needed including window water spray testing blower door testing thermographic (infrared) inspections and waterproofing/air barrier testing/inspections.

Computer proficiency. AutoCAD STAADPro or RISA 3D other experience with structural analysis software; Bluebeam.
Ability to walk through a project or jobsite stoop kneel crawl reach carry touch and climb. This can be in a combination of tightly enclosed areas or on ladders lifts and scaffolding. At times the job can be physically demanding and involves interior and exterior work in all weather conditions.
Travel up to 35% of time
Valid Drivers License and clear driving record.
Required Experience:
Bachelors degree (BS) in structural civil or related engineering required
Masters degree (MS) in structural civil or related engineering optional
Three or more years of civil or structural engineering experience
Experience managing client relationships vendor management and leading a team preferred
Professional Engineer registration/licensure in TX or ability to attain within 6 to 12 months
Ability to lift up to 50 to 75 pounds on a periodic basis

Compensation Range:
