Pay Rate: $13.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors and/or contractors by carrying out access control procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify credentials and/or visitor authorization and document arrivals departures and other access activity in accordance with site protocols.
• Respond to incidents alarms and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating concerns to site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility production areas and perimeter to help identify unusual activity maintenance concerns and/or other security-related issues.
• Assist with screening deliveries vendor access and restricted area entry while following post orders and reporting policy violations hazards and/or suspicious behavior.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
