Professional Structural Engineer

Overview
Seeking a Structural Engineer to design steel racking systems used in industrial and warehouse environments. This role supports project delivery through safe accurate and cost-effective structural design. The position works closely with internal teams to bring complex systems from concept through fabrication and installation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design steel racking systems including Tuberacks Drive-In Cantilever Pushback and Pallet Flow
• Develop structural solutions that meet project requirements codes and safety standards
• Perform structural analysis using industry software for frames beams bracing mezzanines and platforms
• Review and validate structural drawings for accuracy and completeness
• Partner with Project Managers and Design teams to align on requirements and timelines
• Communicate engineering requirements clearly across cross-functional teams
• Support continuous improvement and contribute to design innovation
• Uphold safety standards policies and procedures at all times

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or 3-5 years of structural engineering experience
• Strong knowledge of structural design codes including IBC AISC 360 AISC 341 ASCE 7 and AISI
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Experience

• Background in steel racking or material handling systems
• PE license in the United States
• Experience with steel racking design software
• Prior leadership or project ownership experience
