What Youll Do

This position will be responsible for FP&A activities associated with Commercial Expenses Corporate Overheads Finance HR Legal and Integration. This is a highly visible role within the Amex GBT Finance team and will be reporting to the Senior Director Corporate Finance and partnering with the Amex GBTG Senior leadership and finance teams to deliver FP&A and Decision Support including driving Amex GBTs financial performance management supporting management to target deliver and complete financial plans. Responsible for Amex GBTs reporting budgeting and financial planning process for Commercial and Corporate functions. Finance Support and Leadership to Executive Leadership Team members owning functions including CFO CPO CLO. Tracking cost transformation benefits across the organization. Leading Restructuring tracking and planning providing decision support across enterprise activities including cost / benefit tracking and financial governance. Contribute to FP&A Transformation including the centralization and simplification of FP&A and wider finance processes. Acting as change agent for Finance supporting one-team approach and talent development. This role will lead a team of role also represents a leadership position within global Finance. The role holder will be expected to contribute fully to the transformation and development of the Finance function.

• Provide strategic thought leadership to the business in managing and achieving strategic priorities and driving shareholder accretion.

• Manage in a matrix organization building strong relationships with ELT business leaders their direct reports and finance counterparts.

• Transform Corporate FP&A to deliver relevant insightful business and financial analysis to improve company performance including transformation of FP&A processes and Centre of Excellence in India

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Strategy Pricing Revenue Management Sales Client Management Legal and various Finance partners.

• Support external audit & internal audit reviews as needed.

• Demonstrate strong people leadership capability to develop a highly performing team that is recognized as such by key customers in the business.

What Were Looking For

• Candidate with 15 years of Experience (3-5 years as a Director Level) with outstanding overall financial competence. Chartered Accountant / MBA equivalent preferred.

• Must be able to influence and work effectively multiple customers at different levels across various functional areas/geographies. The ability to build strong relationships with Executive Leadership Team members and senior leaders is essential.

• Must be able to deliver hard results against clear timeframes to drive the business forward to translate business strategies and concepts into viable solutions

• Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles plus excellent analytical / financial modeling skills and insightful strategic judgment.

• High level of comfort with ambiguity operating in a highly flexible dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.

• Demonstrated aptitude to consult & diagnose issues problem solve and implement plans to drive solutions at the most senior levels of the organization.

• Strong people leader able to develop and bring the best out of the team to deliver high performance.

• Self-motivator driven and hard-working individual who will not only contribute to the business but also to the wellbeing and advancement of the Finance function as a whole.

• Knowledge of travel economic model products segmentation key functions and travel competitive environment/industry trends is highly advantageous.

• Excellent English communication & presentation skills to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
