Ce que ce poste implique :

Le Directeur au sein de notre équipe dÉvaluation et Gestion des risques à Montréal réalisera des mandats dévaluation denvergure pour une vaste clientèle regroupant les plus grands fonds de pension FPI gestionnaires dactifs du pays ainsi que de nombreux propriétaires et promoteurs immobilier actifs au Québec tout en contribuant à une équipe hautement performante. Cette opportunité exceptionnelle vous permettra de contribuer à notre réseau mondial de plus de 1 700 professionnels présents dans 44 pays réalisant plus de 3 billions de dollars dévaluations annuellement et de jouer un rôle clé dans le développement de notre plateforme dévaluation reconnue comme la meilleure de sa catégorie au Canada.

À quoi ressemblera votre quotidien :

  • Diriger et superviser tous les aspects de mandats dévaluation complexes pour des actifs immobiliers commerciaux de catégorie Core 4 (commerce de détail bureaux industriel et résidentiel) et des actifs alternatifs

  • Développer et maintenir des relations stratégiques avec les clients tant à linterne quà lexterne pour favoriser la croissance de la ligne de services et développer les affaires

  • Encadrer et développer les membres de léquipe en supervisant la création la révision et la préparation détudes de marché de projections de flux de trésorerie et de rapports dévaluation

  • Diriger la recherche et la collecte de données à partir de ressources internes et externes pour soutenir le processus dévaluation

  • Représenter JLL auprès des parties prenantes clés et répondre avec un sens de lurgence aux besoins des clients

  • Améliorer continuellement les compétences disponibles et les connaissances du marché par la participation à des conférences des formations en ligne et le développement professionnel

  • Assumer toute autre tâche et responsabilité raisonnable qui pourrait être assignée

Qualifications requises :

  • Titre professionnel dévaluateur agréé de lOÉAQ obligatoire

  • 7 années dexpérience professionnelle à temps plein en évaluation dans le secteur immobilier commercial

  • Formation postsecondaire en commerce économie administration des affaires économie urbaine urbanisme ou géographie urbaine

  • Maîtrise démontrée de tous les logiciels applicables incluant Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook et PowerPoint) et Adobe Acrobat

  • Excellentes compétences en communication verbale écrite et interpersonnelle en français et en anglais

  • Excellentes compétences en gestion du temps et en organisation avec capacité à prioriser et respecter les échéances dans un environnement dynamique

  • Solides compétences analytiques avec souci du détail et capacité à maintenir la confidentialité

Qualificationsrecherchées :

  • Connaissance approfondie des thèmes clés impactant les marchés des capitaux et limmobilier dinvestissement

  • Maîtrise des logiciels immobiliers tels quARGUS Enterprise

  • Expérience avec des actifs immobiliers alternatifs au-delà du Core 4

  • Capacité démontrée à travailler de manière autonome tout en collaborant efficacement avec les autres

  • Approche proactive avec initiative et capacité à travailler avec une supervision minimale

  • Expérience en développement des affaires et en gestion de relations clients stratégiques

Director Value and Risk Advisory JLL

What this job involves:

The Director within our Value and Risk Advisory team in Montreal will lead complex valuation assignments for a wide range of clients including the nations largest Pension Funds REITs Asset Managers as well as many active real estate owners and developers in Quebec while contributing to a high-performance team. This opportunity allows you to contribute to our global network of over 1700 professionals operating across 44 countries appraising more than $3 trillion annually and shape the future of our Best-in-Class Canadian valuation platform.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Lead and oversee all aspects of complex appraisal assignments for Core 4 commercial real estate assets (Retail Office Industrial and Residential) and alternative assets

  • Develop and maintain strategic client relationships both inside and outside JLL to drive business development and grow the service line

  • Mentor and develop team members supervising the creation editing and preparation of market research cash flow projections and appraisal reports

  • Direct research and data collection from both internal and external resources to support the valuation process

  • Represent JLL to key stakeholders and respond with a sense of urgency to client needs

  • Continuously improve available skillset and market knowledge through participation in conferences online learning and professional development

  • Assume any other reasonable duties and responsibilities that may be assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Professional designation C. App. from OÉAQ required

  • 7 years full-time professional experience in valuation in the commercial real estate sector

  • Post-secondary education in Commerce Economics Business Administration Urban Economics Urban Planning or Urban Geography

  • Demonstrated proficiency with all applicable software packages including Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat

  • Excellent verbal written and interpersonal communication skills in both French and English

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality

Preferred Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of key themes impacting capital markets and investment real estate

  • Proficiency with real estate software such as ARGUS Enterprise

  • Experience with alternative real estate assets beyond Core 4

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with others

  • Proactive approach with initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision

  • Experience in business development and managing strategic client relationships

*Oral and/or written interactions with tenants or external partners based outside Quebec (for example service providers law firms peers bankers brokerage firms credit analysis firms credit agencies non-French-speaking clients etc.)
