Tool Room Attendant Job Description
The Tool Room Attendant plays a key role in supporting the Career and Technical Education (CTE) automotive programs by ensuring tools and shop areas are well-organized maintained and accessible to students and staff.
Primary Responsibilities:
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to
- Maintain accurate inventory of all tools used in Auto Body and Auto Technology classes
- Receive catalog and tag new tools as they are acquired
- Utilize a scanning system to check tools in and out to students during class periods
- Monitor tool usage and ensure all items are returned and properly accounted for
- Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail in the tool room
Facility Support Duties:
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of four CTE classrooms
- Help oversee and maintain shop sinks and work areas
- Support upkeep of shared restrooms within the CTE area
Preferred Qualities:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Reliability and consistency in tracking and managing equipment
- Ability to work independently and support a structured learning environment
This position is subject to veterans preference.
