Job Summary
Job Title: X-Ray Technologist (Radiologic Technologist)
Location: Portland OR
Duration: 13 Weeks Contract
Shift: Night Shift (11:00 PM 09:30 AM)
Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts (Monday Thursday)
On-Call Requirement: Yes (Approx. 3 shifts/month)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled X-Ray Technologist to join a fast-paced acute care hospital environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working night shifts and capable of delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging while ensuring patient safety and compliance with clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures as ordered by physicians
- Ensure high-quality imaging while adhering to radiation safety protocols
- Position patients correctly to obtain accurate diagnostic images
- Maintain proper documentation of procedures and patient records
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members
- Follow infection control and safety guidelines
- Participate in scheduled on-call shifts
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of X-Ray / Radiologic Technology experience
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Active ARRT certification
- State licensure (if applicable)
- Ability to work independently in a night shift environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in an acute care or hospital setting
- Familiarity with Epic or similar EMR systems
