As PIRTEK Stocktons Territory Sales Representative youre the face of a brand built on speed reliability and trust. Youre out in the field every day meeting new prospects deepening relationships with existing customers and making sure that when something goes wrong in your territory PIRTEK is the first call they make. This is a role for someone who genuinely loves people thrives on the hunt and gets real satisfaction from building something.

No hydraulic experience required. Seriously well train you on everything technical. What we cant teach is drive hustle and the ability to build a room full of strangers into a loyal customer base. That part needs to come from you.

The Role Hunter Farmer Brand Ambassador


This isnt a one-dimensional sales job. Youll be doing three things at once and doing all three well is what separates good reps from great ones.

Hunter Build the customer base:

Youll be prospecting daily cold calls in-person visits referrals leads. The Central Valley is full of potential customers who dont know PIRTEK yet. That changes because of you.

Farmer Grow whats already there:

Existing customers are an untapped goldmine. Youll maintain those relationships uncover new needs introduce additional service lines and make sure PIRTEK stays top of mind not just when something breaks.

Brand Ambassador Make PIRTEK visible:

In a market were growing visibility matters. Youll attend trade shows networking events and community gatherings proudly representing PIRTEK and building a reputation that opens doors before you even knock.


What Youll Be Doing


  • Conduct daily outreach in-person visits phone calls and emails to generate new business and advance existing opportunities
  • Develop and execute a Territory Sales Plan that maps your market and tracks your progress
  • Identify customer needs and proactively introduce relevant PIRTEK service offerings to grow account value
  • Maintain consistent contact with existing accounts to grow wallet share and surface new needs
  • Follow up on completed service calls to ensure customer satisfaction and encourage Google reviews
  • Attend local trade shows networking events and community gatherings to build brand presence
  • Document all sales activity accurately in our CRM contacts visits outcomes pipeline
  • Collaborate with the shop team and field technicians to deliver a seamless customer experience
  • Meet and exceed quarterly revenue goals set in partnership with management
  • Represent PIRTEK professionally at all times in person on the phone and in the community

What You Bring to the Table


Were looking for someone with real sales instincts and the work ethic to back them up. Heres what that looks like:

  • 13 years of B2B or outside sales experience you know how to open a door and close a deal
  • Natural relationship builder people trust you quickly and want to keep doing business with you
  • Self-starter who manages their own time territory and pipeline without needing to be managed
  • Resilient and persistent you handle objections and setbacks without losing momentum
  • Clear confident communicator in person on the phone and in writing
  • Organized and detail-oriented you keep your CRM clean and your follow-ups tight
  • Comfortable working in a variety of environments offices job sites farms industrial floors
  • Valid drivers license and a clean driving record youll be on the road every day

The Basics (Required)


  • High school diploma or GED
  • 13 years of sales or customer-facing experience
  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Based in or willing to commute to the Stockton CA area
Bonus points (not required):

  • Experience selling to industrial construction agricultural or fleet-based businesses
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce HubSpot or similar)
  • Any background in hydraulics fluid power or mechanical services

Your Territory: Stockton CA and the Central Valley


Youll be working out of the greater Stockton area the geographic and economic heart of Californias Central Valley. Agriculture construction logistics manufacturing mining this region runs on heavy equipment and heavy equipment runs on hydraulics. The demand for what PIRTEK offers is everywhere. Your job is to make sure the right people know were here.

Youre home every night. No overnight travel no living out of a suitcase. This is your community and youre building something in it.
