Site Services Engineer / 28 - 32K / Cambridge / Onsite & Travel
Were working with a leading engineering and technology business to find a Site Services Engineer to support the delivery of advanced lighting control systems across the UK.
This is a hands-on field-based role where youll play a key part in commissioning troubleshooting and supporting customers on-site. If you enjoy problem-solving working directly with clients and seeing projects through to completion this could be a great fit.
The Role
As a Site Services Engineer youll be responsible for ensuring systems are installed commissioned and performing to a high standard across a variety of customer sites.
Youll be:
- Commissioning lighting control systems on sites nationwide
- Providing technical support and fault-finding expertise
- Acting as a key point of contact for customers on-site
- Building strong relationships with contractors consultants and end users
- Maintaining accurate project documentation and commissioning records
- Identifying and resolving technical issues efficiently
- Feeding back insights to support product and process improvements
What Were Looking For
- Experience in commissioning electrical systems or a field-based engineering role
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Confident communicating with customers and stakeholders
- Well-organised able to manage workload across multiple sites
- A proactive mindset with a focus on quality and continuous improvement
- Full UK driving licence (essential due to travel requirements)
