Our highperforming Operating Room (OR) team is a collaborative fastpaced department. OR nurses work sidebyside with surgical teams to deliver safe highquality care supported by strong communication teamwork and a shared commitment to excellent patient outcomes.
The OR features 12 procedure rooms and offers 8 10 and 12hour shift options based on unit needs. Call requirements include one night per week and one weekend per month. Weekend and holiday rotations are established and mapped out annually providing predictability and worklife balance.
How youll contribute
AnOR RNwho excels in this role:
Performs plan of care intervention including medication administration specimen collection clinical treatments as well as other medical care treatment.
Documents patient care given.
Monitors records and communicate patient condition as appropriate to care team physician patient and family.
Assists patients with performing activities of daily living including personal hygiene elimination nutrition and ambulation.
Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care including patient transfer discharge referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age culture condition and circumstances.
Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.

What were looking for
Applicants should have a current Michigan RN license and possess an associates degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelors preferred).
