Columbus Technical College seeks an individual to serve as an instructor for manufacturing-related courses (credit and non-credit). Under general supervision this individual will prepare course content teach an established curriculum provide instruction organize and supervise students. This position may require day evening weekend and/or online instruction. (Work schedule can be flexible based on applicant availability). This position is part-time/exempt.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Teach classes as assigned
Organize instruct and supervise students in classroom settings
Deliver effective individualized instruction
Meet established deadlines for the development and delivery of curriculum
Maintain program documents and records
Ensure consistency in course materials methods of instruction and student records
Assist with student recruitment
Assist with the execution of special events projects and activities as requested
Operate effectively within the organizational structure; demonstrate trustworthiness and responsible behavior
Minimum Qualifications:
A minimum of three (3) years of industry experience in Industrial Maintenance Engineering Mechatronics Machining Electronics or related field
Teaching experience in a classroom and/or industrial setting
Valid drivers license
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification diploma or degree concentration in Industrial Maintenance Engineering Mechatronics Machining Electronics or a related field
Directly related teaching experience at the postsecondary level
Industry recognized manufacturing or safety certifications
Salary/Benefits:
Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
