Job Summary
Role Summary:
This role is ideal for an experienced Behavioral Health or Substance Use Disorder Nurse Manager or Supervisor looking to take the next step into a Director of Nursing position with strong mentorship and support.
Your Role
As Director of Nursing youll oversee nursing operations and set the clinical standard for the facility:
- Lead and manage nursing teams to ensure highquality patientcentered care
- Provide coaching development and mentorship to nurse leaders and staff
- Ensure compliance with TJC CMS and state regulations
- Oversee staffing scheduling and workforce planning
- Monitor clinical outcomes and drive quality improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to support treatment goals
- Participate in leadership meetings and support strategic decisionmaking
- Active RN license (Texas)
- BSN strongly preferred
- 3 years RN experience (6 preferred)
- Behavioral health nursing experience: 1 year required 2 preferred
- (inpatient outpatient psychiatric addiction recovery or related)
- 2 years of progressive leadership or management experience required
- Prior Director of Nursingor Nurse Manager experience preferred
