GENERAL DESCRIPTION
ChemTreats Cybersecurity Intern supports the organizations cybersecurity program through awareness documentation and operational execution. Responsibilities include leading security awareness and training initiatives developing and maintaining cybersecurity policies standards procedures and technical documentation and partnering with the VES team to document standard work. The role supports vulnerability management and remediation tracking monitors emerging threats and industry best practices delivers weekly cybersecurity updates and contributes to special cybersecurity initiatives as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan and deliver security awareness (e.g. email cyber tips etc.) and training initiatives.
- Collaborate with the VES Team to document detailed standard work.
- Review cybersecurity policies.
- Attend weekly Veralto cybersecurity training
- Support vulnerability management activities including remediation tracking.
- Research emerging cyber threats vulnerabilities and industry best practices.
- Prepare and present weekly cybersecurity update.
- Coordinate with other IT leaders to remediate vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gain risk tolerance exposure.
- Respond to active and ongoing threats.
- Complete special cybersecurity projects as needed

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Business Administration Computer Science Cybersecurity or related field
- Foundational understanding of cybersecurity concepts
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Office Environment
- Constantly required to sit and occasionally required to walk stand climb (includes stairs) balance stoop bend kneel crouch or crawl and talk hear and smell
- Constantly using hands and fingers to handle feel or operate objects and computer keyboards.
- Routinely required to reach with hands and arms squat turn/twist or reach lift carry push or pull up to 20 pounds

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associates position within the salary range will be based on several factors including but not limited to relevant education qualifications certifications experience skills seniority geographic location performance shift travel requirements sales or revenue-based metrics any collective bargaining agreements and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $15 - $20 USD per hour.We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
