Kelly Nissan ofWoburn is actively hiring experienced Automotive Service Technicians / Flat Rate Technicians to join our high-performing dealership service department in Woburn Massachusetts.

Our technicians work in a state-of-the-art recently updated air-conditioned facility equipped with built-in toolboxes new Hunter alignment machines tire machines and advanced diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance according to repair orders and manufacturer specifications
• Diagnose and repair automotive systems including:
  • Engine
  • Transmission
  • Electrical systems
  • Steering and suspension
  • Brake systems
  • Air conditioning and HVAC
• Perform automotive diagnostics using scan tools diagnostic equipment and special service tools
• Test-drive vehicles and inspect systems to identify issues and confirm repairs
• Complete warranty repairs according to Nissan and manufacturer standards
• Communicate repair recommendations and additional service needs with Service Advisors
• Maintain productivity efficiency and quality workmanship in a fast-paced service environment
• Stay current on new automotive technology repair procedures and manufacturer updates

Qualifications

• 2 years of Automotive Service Technician or Auto Mechanic experience preferred
• ASE Certification required
• B-Level Technician qualifications preferred
• Strong diagnostic electrical and engine repair experience
• Experience with dealership service departments or Nissan experience is a plus
• Ability to operate diagnostic scanners and electronic service equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork mentality
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership environment
• Valid drivers license with clean driving record required
