Assistant Food & Beverage Manager
Job Summary
Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort are looking for an enthusiastic and service-driven Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to join our team on a full-time basis.
In this key leadership role you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our restaurant and event spaces ensuring guests enjoy first-class service and presentation every time. Youll lead by example inspire your team and work closely with the kitchen to maintain our high standards.
Key Responsibilities
As the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager you will:
- Oversee the smooth and efficient daily operations of the restaurant and bar.
- Promote the resorts food and beverage offerings with strong knowledge of menus and features.
- Collaborate with the kitchen during service to ensure high-quality food and presentation.
- Lead mentor and support Food & Beverage Attendants including training and development.
Shift Details (subject to change)
- Breakfast lunch and dinner shifts.
- Rotating roster across Monday through Sunday.
- Split shifts may be required on some days.

Qualifications :
To be a success in this position you will have:
- Previous supervisory experience (12 months) in a similar role.
- Minimum 3 years experience within a restaurant or hotel environment.
- A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a positive guest-focused attitude.
- High levels of self-motivation initiative and confidence.
- Diploma in Hospitality Management or similar (preferred but not essential).
- Solid knowledge of alcohol and beverage service (preferred but not essential).
- Availability to work evenings weekends and public holidays.
