About Your Role

You will play a pivotal role in designing implementing and managing Fiservs complex systems infrastructure. Your expertise will ensure that these systems operate efficiently reliably and securely. You will work closely with a team of engineers collaborating with various departments to align system capabilities with business needs ultimately contributing to the companys strategic goals.

What youll do:

• Lead the design and deployment of infrastructure solutions supporting enterprise applications ensuring scalability reliability and performance
• Partner with Development Product Project Management and other Engineering teams using a consultative approach to gather and analyze technical requirements
• Provide support for hybrid environments involving both on-premises and public cloud platforms (Azure/AWS preferred)
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate routine administrative tasks and improve efficiency
• Support platforms such Framework IIS MS SQL and Apigee in conjunction with application deployments
• Manage and troubleshoot infrastructure services like Active Directory DNS VMWare VXRAIL Group Policy and Firewall Rules
• Collaborate on network-related troubleshooting and configuration of load balancers (e.g. F5 LTM/GTM)
• Create and maintain documentation for systems configurations and processes; enforce adherence to engineering best practices and security standards

Experience youll need to have:

• 8 years of enterprise-level Windows infrastructure/system engineering experience
• 6 years of experience with Windows Server Active Directory and PowerShell
• 5 years of experience with cloud integration and support (Azure or AWS preferred) & infrastructure as code configurations (Terraform Ansible)
• 5 years of experience IIS and SQL Server environments
• 5 years of experience VMWare VXRAIL DNS and network/firewall troubleshooting
• Bachelors degree in computer science or a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education work and/or military experience

Experience that would be great to have:

• Knowledge of Apigee F5 LTM/GTM and middleware components
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent communication abilities
• Experience with disaster recovery planning and implementation
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes

• This role requires being on-call during non-standard and/or overnight hours on a rotational basis
• This role requires flexibility to work overtime that includes weekends and holidays
• This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment

Travel:

• Approximately 5% travel off-site or to other office locations is expected

Salary Range

These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
