Position Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Nurse Supervisor (Assistant Director of Nursing - ADON) to oversee nursing operations enhance patient care quality and drive staff performance across assigned units. This leadership role involves close collaboration with nurse managers monitoring clinical outcomes and implementing process improvements to maintain high standards of care and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement programs to improve patient care quality and staff performance
Monitor nursing unit operations to ensure adherence to clinical standards and best practices
Collaborate with nurse managers to assess unit needs and optimize workflow
Support and execute corrective action plans as needed
Establish and maintain systems for tracking medication errors and staff counseling
Ensure compliance with facility policies procedures and regulatory requirements
Promote a safe efficient and patient-centered care environment
Oversee nursing documentation and quality improvement initiatives
Serve as a leadership resource and mentor to nursing staff
Participate in staff development training and performance evaluations
Required Qualifications
Minimum 7 years of nursing experience
At least 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role
Strong leadership communication and organizational skills
Proven experience in quality improvement and patient care monitoring
Ability to manage staff performance and implement corrective actions
Education Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program
Required Certifications & Licensure
Active Registered Nurse (RN) License New York State
