The Human Resources Intern will support the HR Operations team with day-to-day administrative and support activities. This role is designed to provide hands-on exposure to how Human Resources supports employees and leaders across the company. The intern will assist with organizing information maintaining records supporting projects and helping the HR team deliver consistent and professional service.
This summer internship is suitable for either a high school or college student interested in learning more about Human Resources business operations or working in a professional office environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the HR Operations team
- Assist with organizing and maintaining employee files spreadsheets and HR documentation
- Help prepare reports trackers and basic data summaries
- Support onboarding and offboarding activities such as preparing materials and checklists
- Assist with filing scanning and data entry tasks
- Help update HR forms templates and internal resources
- Support special HR projects and process improvement initiatives
- Answer or route basic employee questions to the appropriate HR team member
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the HR Operations team
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in high school or college
- Interest in Human Resources business or administrative work
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Reliable organized and able to follow instructions
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
- Professional communication skills and a positive attitude
Physical Work Classification & Demands:
Light Work. Exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
The individual in this position will periodically walk kneel sit crouch reach stoop read/see speak push pull lift stand and finger/type. The frequency of each action varies by workflow and office activity.
Walking - The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets office machinery boxes cabinets etc.
Constantly operates a computer and other office machinery such as a calculator copy machine phone computer and computer printer.
The person in this position frequently communicates with employees and external stakeholders regarding a variety of topics related to office administration.
Constantly computes analyzes and conceptualizes mathematical calculations and formulas.
Constantly reads written communications and views email submissions.
The person in this position regularly sits in a stationary position in front of a computer screen.
Visual acuity and ability to operate a vehicle as certified and appropriate.
Rarely exposed to high and low temperatures
Rarely exposed to noisy environments and outdoor elements such as precipitation and wind.

Compensation Range (Colorado Only)
$20.00 USD per hour
