Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday: 9:30 AM 2:30 PM
- Friday: 9:30 AM 1:30 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM 12:00 PM
Job Type: Part-time
Assisting Hands Central Milwaukee is seeking a compassionate and dependable Caregiver to provide in-home support for a client in Milwaukee. This role includes personal care assistance companionship and helping maintain a safe and comfortable home environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with bathing and showering
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with dressing and personal grooming
- Prepare simple meals
- Perform light housekeeping tasks
- Assist with grocery shopping
- Help maintain a safe home environment
- Assist with scheduling appointments for physicians and laboratory visits
- Support client mobility and be able to assist with client weight as needed
Client Information:
- Client is a smoker
- Client has a cat in the home
Qualifications:
- Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required
- Comfortable assisting with personal care tasks and mobility support
- Must be comfortable working in a home with a smoker and a cat
- Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Reliable compassionate and able to communicate effectively
