Maintenance Team Leader

Position Summary

TheFacility Maintenance Associate is responsible for performing miscellaneousmaintenance and repairs including but not limited to carpentry electrical andplumbing tasks and support activities related to the entire property and allsurrounding outdoor areas.

Overview of Responsibilities

Regularly monitor the interior and exterior of thebuilding and outdoor areas perform any necessary cleaning maintenancecarpentry repair work and communicate any/all areas that may need attentionto the General Manager

Daily floor cleaning with special attention toentrance cafe tasting room and patios

Conduct a daily walkthrough of all spaces to ensureall areas are in clean safe and presentable condition and in compliance withthe Companys standards hygiene food safety and sanitation and board ofhealth regulations

Handle maintenance/cleanliness issues in a timelymanner and communicate to General Manager when applicable

Meticulously inspect clean and stock all restroomsverifying that everything is properly functioning

Inspect all lighting fixtures interior as well asexterior

Inspect outside grounds for cleanliness safety andsecurity

Ensure plantings and lawns are weed free and watered

Routine paint and touchup of halls and bathrooms

Snow removal of walkways and entrances

Coordinate all ordering of supplies with GeneralManager

Attend meetings and training courses as needed

Follow all company policies procedures andguidelines including being ready to work at scheduled shift time in uniformwith neat and presentable appearance

Perform all other reasonably assigned projects andduties

Minimum Qualifications

2 yearsexperience in a facilities maintenance or repair-work role and/or equivalentrelevant experience

Priorexperience with light carpentry electrical and plumbing repair

Ability tohandle high volume workload and meet deadlines

Workingknowledge of health regulations sanitation procedures and ability to safelyoperate equipment

Strong workethic team player and exceptional guest service skills

Effectivecommunication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build positiverelationships with people in the scope of employment

Ability towork a flexible schedule including days nights weekends and holidays

Ability to performphysical requirements of the role including standing/walking for entirety ofshift bending pulling pushing using stairs lifting and carrying up to 75lbs.
