Director of Account Management-Employee Benefits

Foundation Risk Partners one of the fastest growing insurance brokerage and consulting firms in the US is adding a Director of Account Management to theirAcentria team in Ormond Beach FL.

Job Summary:

The Director of Employee Benefits Account Management provides strategic leadership oversees their designated account management team ensures exceptional client service and drives operational excellence.

Essential Functions:

• Lead coach and mentor the Account Management team
• Develop and execute team strategy and performance metrics
• Serve as executive oversight for key clients
• Oversee renewal strategy and service quality
• Partner with sales and operations teams
• Create and maintain strong carrier partnerships
• Ensure designated teams clients compliance requirements are satisfactory and up to date
• Manage staffing training and team planning
• Drive process improvement and operational efficiency
• Manage book of business for large size clients
• Lead renewal strategy and negotiate with carriers
• Deliver client presentations and open enrollment materials
• Manage escalations and resolve complex issues
• Analyze claims data and funding strategies
• Prepare spreadsheets proposals and enrollment materials
• Other duties as assigned

Competencies & Qualifications:

• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Expert knowledge of medical (fully insured and self-funding) dental vision life disability and voluntary benefits

Education & Experience:

• 5 years in employee benefits account management
• 2 years managing teams
• State Health & Life license required
