As a Security Officer Patrol Agent in Aberdeen MD you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a busy retail location where you will patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents and deliver outstanding customer service. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors customers and store personnel by following site-specific procedures access guidelines and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and sharing relevant information with management and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location sales floor exterior areas parking areas and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances exits and high-traffic areas to help support loss prevention efforts assist with crowd management and report suspicious behavior and/or policy violations.
• Support daily operations by assisting with opening and closing activities checking that restricted areas remain properly controlled and communicating customer service and security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A current guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
