Job Summary

DIRECT HIRE:seeking an experienced and drivenHVAC Team Leadto lead field operations manage a team of commercial HVAC technicians and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality service and installations. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge of commercial HVAC systems strong leadership capabilities and a commitment to safety quality and customer satisfaction.

Working Location: Local travel for Charlotte NC. and surrounding area
Pay Range: $40hr - $55hr (depending on experience)
Base hours/Schedule: M - F 7am - 3:30pm OT

Key Responsibilities:

Demonstrate a positive customer-focused attitude to set a standard for the team to follow
Ensure the team maintains a professional appearance by wearing appropriate company uniforms and hold team members accountable to do the same
Actively support upper management in setting clear goals and expectations for the team ensuring alignment with company objectives
Exhibit support for companywide initiatives regardless of personal opinion to foster a cohesive and motivated team environment
Meet monthly with employees to coach mentor and deliver feedback
Perform weekly review for non-compliant KPIs
Mentor team members on efficient service execution and accountability
Serve as a safety role model for the team
Ensure safe work practices are implemented and provide job site safety training in line with OSHA regulations and company policies
Ensure team members use proper PPE daily and understand proper usage
Work closely with Service Coordinators to meet customer needs and foster a strong cohesive team dynamic
Oversee daily service calls and ensure timely completion of electronic paperwork for billing
Limit customer impacts and increase satisfaction working with coordination
Assist in managing parts orders to ensure timely job completion
Support sales efforts by identifying opportunities and assisting with estimates and job site surveys
Review quotes from team before going to customer & ensure submission to customer in a timely manner
Ensure team proficiency with OEM/vendor apps and HVAC software tools
Lead rollout and training of new tools technology and processes
Maintain excellent driver scores
Participate in the on-call rotation to support urgent customer needs
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Minimum 15 years of experience in commercial or industrial HVAC service
Prior experience supervising or mentoring technicians in a field-based role
EPA Universal Certification (required)
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for complex HVAC systems
Proficiency with OEM/vendor apps and HVAC-related software tools
Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and commitment to jobsite safety
Excellent communication leadership and organizational skills
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings schematics and manuals
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
