ABOUT THE TEAM

Our Backend Engineering teams build the core systems that power Trade work on high-impact problems such as designing scalable services improving systemreliability and enabling product teams to ship quickly and safely. Our systems handlereal-time data financial transactions and critical user flows where performance andcorrectness a graduate youll work closely with experienced engineers who will help you grow fromfoundational knowledge to building production-ready systems.

WHAT YOULL BE DOING

Contribute to backend services using modern JVM technologies (Kotlin Java
Spring)
Support the design and development of scalable reliable systems
Work with APIs databases and service-oriented architectures
Learn how to write clean maintainable and well-tested code
Collaborate with Product and Engineering to deliver user-facing features
Gain exposure to cloud infrastructure (AWS) containerisation and CI/CD pipelines
Assist in debugging monitoring and improving system performance
Gradually take ownership of well-scoped technical projects

Youll learn how backend systems are built deployed and scaled in a real productionenvironment.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field
Strong foundations in programming (Java Kotlin or similar)
Understanding of core computer science concepts (data structures algorithms
APIs)
Exposure to backend development through projects internships or coursework
Curiosity about distributed systems scalability and system design
Fluent English (written and spoken) all communication and collaboration is
conducted in English
Structured thinking and attention to detail
Strong communication skills and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
